First launch
What Lumina Live comes with the first time, how to connect the projector and your first test, in five minutes.
The first time, Lumina Live starts in your computer's language (Spanish, English, Italian or Portuguese; if it's none of those, English) and with the dark theme, made for working from a dark booth. You can change both in Settings › System.
It comes with the Reina-Valera 1909 Bible (in Spanish) and four timer scenes ready to use: a 10-minute countdown, a countdown to 10:00, a clock and a stopwatch.
Connect the projector
Connect the projector or TV to the computer and turn it on.
Set the computer to extend the display, not mirror it: on Windows, press Win + P and choose Extend; on macOS, in System Settings › Displays, the projector has to be an extended display.
Open Lumina Live. The projection window doesn't appear yet: it opens by itself, on the screen that isn't the main one, the first time you click GO LIVE, BLACK or LOGO.
Your first test
In the Bible tab (bottom left), type “juan 3” in the search box and press Enter. The bundled Bible is the Spanish Reina-Valera 1909, so “juan” is John.
Click verse 16. It appears in Preview, the middle column: nobody can see it yet.
Click GO LIVE, at the top, or press Enter. The verse appears on the projector and on the Live monitor on the right.
Click BLACK to blank the screen and LIVE to show the verse again.
Tip: Load the church logo in Settings › Projection › Logo image: it's what shows when nothing is live. With no logo, the projector stays black.
Next step: the control window, column by column.
