The app showed an error
What each Lumina Live error message means and what to do, without losing what you were building.
Lumina Live is built to keep working even when something fails: the schedule you're building saves itself and the projection carries on.
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| “An unexpected error occurred. The app is still running.” | Carry on. If it happens again, report it. |
| “Something went wrong in the interface”, with Retry and Reload | Click Retry; if that's not enough, Reload. What you were building without saving isn't lost. |
| “Something went wrong in that window and it closed” | Open it again. The rest of the app keeps working. |
| The “Unexpected error” window | The app keeps working. When the service is over, close the app, open it again and report the error. |
| “The projector window closed”, with Reopen | Click Reopen: it comes back with what was live. |
| “Couldn't start the database” | It can happen when you open a new version. The app saved a verified backup first, and the message says where. Report it with that message before you touch anything. |
In every case, the crash.log file (in Settings › About › Open logs folder) helps find the cause. Attach it to your report.
