Keyboard shortcuts
The keys to run the projection without the mouse: GO LIVE, move through slides and verses, BLACK and LOGO.
The shortcuts follow the two-step flow: ↑ and ↓ move in Preview, which nobody sees; ← and → change what's on the projector. That way you get the next thing ready without touching what the congregation sees.
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enter | GO LIVE: sends what's in Preview to the projector. |
| ← → | Previous or next slide or verse of what's live. |
| ↑ ↓ | Previous or next slide or verse in Preview. Doesn't change the projector. |
| Space | Pauses and resumes a live auto-advancing presentation. |
| B | Turns BLACK on and off. |
| L | Turns LOGO on and off. |
| Delete or ⌫ | Removes what's selected in Media (with Undo) or, if nothing is, the selected schedule row. |
When they don't work
- While you're typing in a text field, like the Bible search box: the keys type there.
- With a window open on top, like Settings or Schedules.
- While Ctrl, ⌘ or Alt is held down.
- On a volume or position control, the arrows move that control; B and L still work.
Tip: The shortcuts keep working after you click a button: if something shows up that shouldn't be seen, B covers it instantly.
