Lumina Live

Preview and GO LIVE

The two-step flow: you choose and check in Preview, and the congregation only sees it once you click GO LIVE.

Lumina Live works in two steps, like EasyWorship: first you get things ready in Preview, which nobody sees, and then you send them to the projector with GO LIVE. That way nothing you haven't checked ever shows up on the screen.

1. Get it ready in Preview

One click on anything (a schedule row, a video, a verse, a slide) shows it in Preview. A click never projects.

Everything shows from the beginning: a presentation on its first slide, a video at zero seconds and paused. To start a presentation further in, pick the slide in the Preview grid: it goes live from there.

2. Send it live

Three ways that do exactly the same thing:

  • The GO LIVE button, at the top.
  • The Enter key.
  • A double-click on whatever you want to show.

Going live takes you out of BLACK or LOGO by itself: there's no need to click LIVE first. There are two exceptions: a standalone audio file is added as sound without changing the picture, and an overlay goes on top of whatever is there.

While it's live

  • → and ← go to the next or previous slide or verse of what's live.
  • A click on a slide in the Live grid jumps there instantly.
  • Meanwhile, you get the next thing ready in Preview without touching the projector; ↓ and ↑ move through its slides or verses.

Warning: The arrows don't move on to the next item in the schedule. When a presentation ends, choose what comes next and click GO LIVE.

ButtonWhat the congregation sees
BLACK or BA black screen. A video or a presentation's music pauses where it was.
LOGO or LThe church logo (where to set it). With no logo, black.
LIVEWhat was live, shown again from where it left off.

The B and L keys switch on and off: if it's already on BLACK, B goes back to the content. A standalone audio file (background music) keeps playing through BLACK and LOGO.

Tip: If something shows up that shouldn't be seen, B covers it instantly, even if you've just clicked another button.

Take something off the air

The X (Remove) on the bar of what's live takes it down and leaves the logo. To clear everything at once, music included, use Clear live content, in Settings › Projection.

When a video or an auto-advancing presentation ends by itself, it goes off the air and the logo stays. A presentation you advance by hand never goes off by itself.
