Build the service schedule
Add hymns, videos, verses and announcements in order, save the schedule and open it again whenever you like.
The Schedule, at the top left, is the list of what will happen in the service, in order. It can hold presentations, videos, images, audio files, Bible verses, timer scenes and overlays.
Add items
- Drag files from File Explorer or Finder onto the Schedule: they're added to the library and to the schedule, where you drop them.
- Add media, below the schedule: choose several files at once, even of different types.
- From Bible, Media or Functions: select something and click Add to schedule, or drag it to the exact spot in the schedule.
Verses go one per row. When you add a presentation, the app starts converting it in the background so it's ready.
Reorder and remove
- Drag a row to move it, or use Move up and Move down.
- Remove takes out the selected row, without asking.
- Clear removes every row.
Warning: Removing a row that's live doesn't take it off the projector: it only disappears from the list.
Save
The schedule's header says Saved or Not saved. To save, click the floppy disk (Save) on the top bar; the first time, it asks for a name.
Even if you don't save, Lumina Live keeps track of what you build: if the app closes, when you open it again you'll see “Recovered the schedule you were working on”.
Warning: If you clear a saved schedule and then click Save, it's saved empty.
Your saved schedules
Manage schedules, the folder on the top bar, opens the list of schedules. There you can:
- Search by name and filter your Favorites (the star).
- Open one: a click shows what's in it, and Open (or a double-click) loads it.
- Create a new one with +, and Edit (name and notes), Duplicate or Delete any of them.
- Reorder them by dragging.
Tip: Duplicating is the fastest way to build this week's service from last week's.
Opening another schedule doesn't cut what's on the projector.
When you close the app
If there are unsaved changes or something on the projector, the app asks before closing (Close anyway or Cancel). That way, closing it by mistake mid-service doesn't blank the screen without warning.
