How the verse looks
Change the font, size, colors, background and reference of the verses you project.
The style of every verse is in Settings › Verses. At the top there's a preview drawn just like the projector; Show with a long verse shows how John 3:16 fits.
Changes save themselves and, if a verse is live, show on the projector instantly.
| Group | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Background | A solid color (black, out of the box) or a gradient. |
| Typography | The Font: the app's own or any font installed on the computer. |
| Layout | Vertical alignment, Text alignment, Line spacing and Block width. |
| The verse | Size (as a percentage of the screen width), Color, Weight and Shadow. |
| Auto-fit | Shrink to fit: a long verse gets smaller until it fits, but never below the Minimum size. |
| The reference | Show the reference (“John 3:16”), its Position, Capitalization and Show the version, with its own size and color. |
Tip: If you show the version, give it a short name in Settings › Bible, like “RV1909”: that's the text that appears on screen.
Restore the original style puts everything back the way it came, after you confirm.
