Linux: known issues
On Linux, Lumina Live is still experimental. What's known, and how to avoid the problems.
In automated tests on Linux, the projection and control windows closed by themselves with a presentation on screen, which doesn't happen on Windows or macOS. The cause isn't known yet. Test it thoroughly before using it in a service.
The AppImage won't start on Ubuntu
On Ubuntu 24.04 or later, “The SUID sandbox helper binary was found, but is not configured correctly” appears and the app doesn't open: the system blocks the security sandbox the AppImage uses. Install the .deb, which sets it up (how).
LibreOffice from Flatpak or Snap
If LibreOffice is installed as a Flatpak or Snap, it can't convert presentations: it's isolated from the rest of the system. Install your distribution's package (.deb or .rpm).
