Lumina Live

Nothing shows on the projector

What to check when the projection doesn't appear, shows on the wrong screen, shows your screen or has frozen.

Nothing appears

  • The projection only opens with the first GO LIVE, BLACK or LOGO. Have you sent anything yet?
  • If the Live header says Projector off, the projection window is closed: click LOGO or send something live.
  • If it says BLACK or LOGO, that's what the congregation sees: click LIVE.
  • LOGO with no logo loaded is black. Load one in Settings › Projection › Logo image.
  • If “There's no screen to project on” appears, the computer doesn't detect the projector: check the cable and the projector's input, and click Choose screen.

It shows on the wrong screen

Choose the projector in Settings › Projection › Projector screen (how). If the projection was already open, it moves right away.

The projector shows my screen

The computer is mirroring the screens. Set it to extend the display (how): the projection moves to the projector by itself.

The projection is a small window

That happens when the computer sees only one screen: the projection opens as an 800 × 600 window, for practice. When you connect the projector and extend the display, it goes full screen by itself.

It disconnected mid-service

If the projector turns off or the cable comes loose, what was live keeps running, with its sound, and the picture comes back by itself when you reconnect it. If “The projector window closed” appears instead, click Reopen: it comes back with what was live.

It froze

  1. Open Settings › Projection.

  2. In Projector window, click Close projector and then Open projector.

  3. It reopens on BLACK: click LIVE.

Warning: Closing the projection cuts the sound of what's live.

It disappeared when I minimized

Minimizing the control window also minimizes the projection. Restore the control window and it comes back.
